CONNECTION

After donating 3,000 postcards to each one of the towns and turning them into Maurilias, there was a further step that I called Connection.

Between July and October 2021, I sent postcards with stories and photos of the ten smallest municipalities in Paraná to the whole world. Most of the images and texts were complementary to those in the book because in the editing process many things ended up being excluded.

I used the TouchNote app to produce these postcards. It allow us to use any digital image (from computer or cell phone) and write a message on the back. After adding the recipient, the application prints the postcard and mails it. Along three months, the shipment was made to seven countries, including Brazil.

The distribution was free and advertised on my Facebook and Instagram social networks (@tomlisboa).
